The Organization
Project Alianza is a nonprofit organization based in Boston, MA, that expands access to education in rural Central America by partnering with communities to build schools, upskill educators, and support students, especially girls, through locally led programs and evidence-based approaches like the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) method.
The Challenge
- Design a timeless, low-cost souvenir t-shirt for a group of donors who hiked Volcano Acatenango and Volcano Fuego in Guatemala to raise awareness for the client.
The Solution
- Outlined the silhouette of the two volcanoes and created a short phrase for the shirt that focused on reminding hikers of their achievement.
- Presented the CEO with black as the final t-shirt color to keep it brand-aligned and low-cost (1 color = lower cost).
The Result
- A non-gendered shirt with a clean, sleek, and effortless look for daily wear.
