The Organization

Project Alianza is a nonprofit organization based in Boston, MA, that expands access to education in rural Central America by partnering with communities to build schools, upskill educators, and support students, especially girls, through locally led programs and evidence-based approaches like the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) method.

The Challenge

  • Write engaging success stories that highlight impact to share with institutional funders and donor audience.

The Solution

  • Collaborated with the social program department to identify beneficiaries to highlight and relevant impact data to include in stories.
  • Promoted stories through e-newsletters to maintain the audience engaged and delighted with feel-good stories.

The Result

  • Compelling stories that resonated with audiences and strengthened their connection to and belief in the client’s mission.
  • 4.48% average email click rate for e-newsletters with the below stories (nonprofit industry average is 3.29%).

A bilingual platform that highlights the culture, people, and everyday beauty of Panajachel, Guatemala—sharing local stories, events, and community spaces with care, authenticity, and a deep love for place.

The Challenge

  • Create brand-aligned social media graphics in Spanish to help town citizens stay safe during the country’s month-long period of peaceful protests.

The Solution

  • Researched and identified tips to stay safe and protest peacefully in the country.
  • Used Adobe Firefly to create soft images centered around the community for graphics.
  • Included local phone numbers for emergencies.

The Result

  • Local citizens had a quick, reliable resource to support them during a high-stress period.

A reel for the same client, posted on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok to highlight a community lake clean-up project.
